How to Add Quick Response Text Templates to LaunchSMS
These templates are especially useful for saving time when typing common responses, like recommending customers reach out to the office to set up an appointment. If you are using LaunchSMS on mobile, this will save you a lot of time.
Adding Quick Response Text Templates Or SMS Templates To LaunchSMS.
First, log in to your desktop platform at go.launchsms.com/login. Once logged in, you’ll be taken to your dashboard.
From there, go to the gear that represents Settings. From there, select Messenger → SMS Template. On our demo account dashboard, you can see an example template that can be edited or removed if no longer needed.
To add a new SMS template, click Add SMS Template on the top right side, name the new template, and start writing. There are available shortcodes to fill in variables like customer name and phone number.
Once you’ve finished typing your template, we recommend that you save it as a Quick Template and click Save.
Using Quick Response Text Templates In LaunchSMS.
Now, when you return to the Messenger section to respond to customers, you’ll see the different text templates available. Simply click the blue button to insert the template text, and you can add any additional information as needed.
If you don’t set up the template as a quick template, you’ll need to click on the plus symbol next to Templates and scroll down to select from your different options.
